NATIONAL LEVEL CONFERENCE: 'BRIDGES TO ACADEMIC SUCCESS FOR DEAF IN INDIA': NOVEMBER 24 & 25, 2007

ISHARA is going to organize a national level conference on 24th and 25th November, 2007 in Mumbai. The theme of the workshop is ' Bridges to success in Higher Education for Deaf in India'. The workshop participation is limited for small group of professional working in Deaf education and those interested in new developments and visions. If you are interested in participating in the workshop please use the 'contact us' form and write a brief about yourself and why you are interested in participating in the conference. The workshop will be attended by many Indian and internationally recognized professionals.

The workshop will consist of two parts, a conference with invited presentations and question-answer sessions on the first day, and opportunities for discussion groups working in detail on a range of sub-topics on the second day, followed by a plenary session with a panel. The outline of the programme is as follows:
