Painting contest for hearing impaired
Bangalore: Enrich Rehabilitation Trust, in collaboration with Nayak's
Hearing Care Clinic, will organise a painting competition for hearing
impaired children on August 13 at the Rotary Hall on Lavelle Road to
commemorate the 60th year of Independence. M.S.J. Nayak, trust
secretary, told presspersons here on Saturday that around 70–80 children
of various speech and hearing schools would take part in the competition
titled "Inspired Minds."
Artist S.G. Vasudev would be present to encourage the students, he
added. The trust works towards creating awareness about the need for
inclusive education and promoting higher education among children who
are hearing impaired.
