Singapore cricket team host India's deaf cricket team to match
   
   

 

 

SINGAPORE : The current champions of the Singapore Cricket League, the Lanka Lions, hosted the Indian Deaf Cricket Team to a Twenty-20 game on Friday.

The match ended with the Lankan Lions winning with 253 runs to a loss of 6 wickets.

The Indian team could only chase 94 runs before they lost all their wickets.

The Indian team, based in Punjab, are made up of players from all over India. The team beat the Pakistani Deaf Cricket Team in a recent match played in India.

Their tour to Singapore and Malaysia marks the first time any deaf cricket team is representing India overseas.

The team will play two matches in Singapore and visit deaf schools in Kuala Lumpur. - CNA /ls
