1 person can infect 406 people if social distancing is not followed: Govt

The government during its media briefing on COVID-19 on Monday highlighted a study on social distancing and said that one person can infect 406 other people with COVID-19 in 30 days if no social distancing is followed. "If exposure through physical distancing is reduced by 50%, one person ends up infecting 15 people," Health Ministry's Joint Secretary Luv Aggarwal said.
