At least 71 cases were filed in different parts of Bangladesh in connection with the attacks on Hindus. Moreover, 450 people were arrested over the attacks on puja venues, Hindu homes and for spreading rumours on social media amid the Durga Puja. It comes after Hindu villages in Rangpur were attacked over an alleged Facebook post hurting Muslims' religious sentiments.
