The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has so far collected over ₹77 crore in fines from mask rule violators till October 24. According to data provided by BMC, the amount was collected from 37,23,019 violators of the COVID-19 guideline. BMC had earlier announced that ₹200 will be charged as fine from individuals who are found not wearing a mask in public.
