2353 - Crown Prince wanted to kill late king with a poison ring: Ex-Saudi official

A former senior Saudi security official has alleged that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman once boasted about killing the kingdom's former monarch. He said that Salman told his cousin that he wanted to assassinate King Abdullah with a poison ring from Russia. While the official showed no evidence for this, the Saudi authorities called him "a discredited former government official".
