Sunao Tsuboi, a Japanese campaigner and survivor of the Hiroshima atomic bombing, has died aged 96 on October 24. Tsuboi was 20-year-old when the US dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945, killing 1,40,000 people. Tsuboi suffered "serious burns" in the bombing, resulting in which his ear's part was gone. Later, he developed cancer and other diseases.
