The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence has seized 85.535 kgs of gold valued at about ₹42 crore from New Delhi and Gurugram. As per the DRI, the gold was smuggled in the form of machinery parts. It was being melted and moulded into bar and cylindrical shapes before being disposed of in the local market, added DRI.
