2553-Ethiopia PM who won Nobel Peace Prize two years ago joins war against rebels


Ethiopia's Nobel Peace Prize-winning Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has gone to the battlefront where government forces are battling rebels from the Tigray region, his government announced on Wednesday. Abiy, the 45-year-old former soldier, was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize two years ago for sweeping political reforms and for making peace with neighbouring Eritrea.
