India has reported 1,59,632 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, a jump of 17,646 cases from yesterday. This is the biggest one day rise in cases in India after May 30, 2021, when the country reported 1,65,553 cases. India also reported 327 deaths. The active caseload rose to 5,90,611, while the daily positivity rate rose to 10.21%.
