A Pune court on Friday granted bail to Kalicharan Maharaj who was arrested by the city police in a hate speech case. This comes after Kalicharan was sent to one-day police custody. Pune police had taken him into custody from Raipur jail on Tuesday. However, Kalicharan will continue to remain in judicial custody for his derogatory remarks against Mahatma Gandhi.
