Sri Lankan Navy said on Tuesday that it has arrested 21 Indian fishermen for alleged poaching. Following this, the officials of the Consulate General of India in Jaffna met the fishermen and provided them with consular assistance including immediate relief materials and phone calls, among others. The fishermen's two boats were handed over into the custody of police in Kankesanturai.
