The Pentagon said that US special forces carried out a counter-terrorism mission in Idlib, northwest Syria, on Thursday. Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby said the mission was successful, adding that there were no US casualties. However, at least 13 people, including six children and four women, were reported to be killed by clashes and explosions that erupted after the raid.
