US President Joe Biden spoke with President Vladimir Putin about Russia's military buildup on Ukraine borders, The White House said. Biden said if Russia undertakes a further invasion of Ukraine, the US and its allies will impose "swift and severe costs" on Russia. Biden warned the US is prepared to engage in diplomacy, but is also prepared for "other scenarios".
