Three researchers from China's Wuhan Institute of Virology were hospitalised in November 2019, months before China disclosed the COVID-19 pandemic, the Wall Street Journal citing US intelligence reported. The researchers had COVID-19-like symptoms, reports added. David Asher, an ex-US government official, said that the researchers' illness may represent "the first known cluster" of COVID-19 cases.
