A 33-year-old Delhi High Court lawyer proposed to his 29-year-old Ukrainian girlfriend, who escaped Kyiv, as soon as she landed in India. The man said she stayed in Poland for a few weeks after escaping Ukraine. "She applied for a visa at the Indian embassy in Poland...She flew to India and I proposed to her at the airport," he added.
