Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari formally took charge as 27th Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) at a ceremony in Delhi on Thursday. He succeeded Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria, who retired after a two-year tenure. VR Chaudhari has flown more than 3,800 hours on multiple fighter and trainer aircraft. After assuming charge, he also met Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
