China's internet companies including Alibaba, Tencent and DiDi have been fined by the country's anti-monopoly regulator for failing to report earlier merger and acquisition deals for approval. The companies were fined 500,000 yuan ($77,300) each for not seeking approval in 22 deals, the regulator said. Of these, six companies were owned by Alibaba, five by Tencent and eight by DiDi.
