At least 1.15 lakh health workers have died of COVID-19: WHO chief

World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said that at least 1,15,000 health care workers have died of COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic. "For almost 18 months, health and care workers all over the world have stood in the breach between life and death," he added. "The world remains in a very dangerous situation," Tedros further said.
