China's Xiaomi removed from US government's trade blacklist
China's Xiaomi said it has been formally removed from the US government's trade blacklist as the company's designation as a "Communist Chinese military company" was vacated. The blacklist restricted Americans from buying or holding Xiaomi stock. "The company reiterates that it is an open, transparent, publicly traded, independently operated and managed corporation," Xiaomi Chairman Lei Jun said.
