Covishield maker Serum Institute of India to invest ₹2,460 crore in UK


Serum Institute of India will invest £240 million (₹2,460 crore) in the UK to expand its vaccine business and set up a new sales office. This is part of a £1 billion UK-India trade partnership that'll create over 6,500 jobs, the UK government said. SII has already started Phase 1 trial in the UK of a one-dose nasal COVID-19 vaccine.
