DA hike for Tamil Nadu govt employees advanced to January 1, 2022

Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin said that the increased dearness allowance (DA) to government employees and pensioners will be advanced by three months and it shall be implemented with effect from January 1, 2022. It will benefit 16 lakh government employees and will cost an additional ₹1,620 crore due to the advancement. It will involve yearly expenditure of ₹6,480 crore.
