Death toll from severe floods in northern Turkey reaches 27

Search and rescue teams have recovered 10 more bodies, raising the death toll from the severe floods and mudslides that struck northern Turkey to 27. More than 1,700 people have been evacuated from flood-hit areas. At least 4,500 personnel, 19 helicopters and 24 boats are involved in the search-and-rescue operation, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Thursday.
