Delhi ambulance driver asks ₹8,500 for 2 km from COVID patient, held

An ambulance driver was arrested in Delhi for allegedly demanding ₹8,500 to ferry a COVID-19 patient. The complainant informed the police that he wanted to shift his relative from Apollo Hospital to Holy Family Hospital and the distance between the hospitals is around two kilometres. The driver was arrested after the police team posed as a client seeking his service.
