Farmers observe 'Black Day' as protest against farm laws completes 6 months in Delhi
Farmers are observing 'Black Day' in Punjab, Haryana and at Delhi borders amid the COVID-19 pandemic as their protest against the farm laws completed six months on Wednesday. Farmers were seen protesting with black flags in Ghaziabad. People hoisted black flags on houses in Punjab, while farmers in Haryana took out a motorbike rally at Tikri border waving black flags.
Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin on Wednesday said the Centre didn't pay heed to the farmers' struggles for six months, and the state Assembly would pass a resolution against three farm laws. Stalin said the resolution aims to urge the Centre to withdraw these laws. Notably, farmers are observing 'Black Day' today on completion of six months of their agitation.
