Customs officials at the Mangaluru Airport on Friday seized 920 gms of 24-carat purity gold in paste form worth ₹43.88 lakh. The gold was seized from a passenger hailing from Kerala's Kasaragod who had arrived from Dubai on Friday. As per the officials, the gold was concealed in specially stitched pockets in the passenger's underwear.
