Hong Kong bans flights from India after detecting N501Y mutant COVID-19 strain

Hong Kong has suspended flights from India, Pakistan and the Philippines from April 20 for two weeks after the N501Y mutant COVID-19 strain was detected there for the first time, authorities said in a statement on Sunday. Hong Kong has also placed the three countries under the category of "extremely high-risk Group A", according to an official release.
