IAF airlifts 6 cryogenic oxygen containers from Dubai to WB's Panagarh
IAF C-17 airlifted six cryogenic oxygen containers from Dubai airports and landed at West Bengal's Panagarh Airbase, the Indian Air Force tweeted on Monday. "Within India, oxygen containers...airlifted from Jaipur to Jamnagar Airbase," it added. "IAF C-17s airlifted cryogenic oxygen containers from Pune, Indore...to Jamnagar, Baroda to Ranchi...Hindan to Panagarh yesterday," IAF said on Tuesday.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said, "We are importing 21 ready-to-use oxygen plants from France. They can be brought to use immediately. These will be installed at different hospitals." "We have decided to import 18 oxygen tankers from Bangkok, they'll start arriving from tomorrow. We've requested Centre to allow use of Air Force planes for this," he added.
