World's richest person Jeff Bezos on Monday stepped down as the CEO of Amazon, exactly 27 years after he founded the company as an online bookseller running from a garage on July 5, 1994. Andy Jassy is now listed as President and CEO on Amazon's investor relations website. Bezos, the 57-year-old Founder of Amazon, is now Amazon's Executive Chairman.
