Jitin Prasada's commitment to Cong was suspected: Veerappa Moily
A day after Jitin Prasada switched to the BJP, Congress leader M Veerappa Moily said that his ideological commitment was suspected from the beginning and the party winning zero seats in West Bengal under his charge showed that he was incompetent. Moily added that Congress needs to undergo a "major surgery" and not depend just on its legacy.
After former Congress leader Jitin Prasada joined the BJP on Wednesday, party leader Jyotiraditya Scindia welcomed him and said Prasada is like his "younger brother". "I welcome him to BJP. I congratulate him," Scindia added. "I started feeling in the Congress that there is no point if you cannot be present for the people," Prasada said after quitting Congress.
