K'taka Guv accepts CM Yediyurappa's resignation, asks him to continue as caretaker CM

Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot accepted Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa's resignation on Monday and asked him to continue as caretaker CM till the next Chief Minister takes oath. "Nobody pressurised me to resign. I did it on my own so that someone else can take over as Chief Minister after completion of two years of the government," said Yediyurappa.
