Mahila Congress chief Sushmita Dev quits party, sends letter to Sonia Gandhi

Former Congress MP and President of Mahila Congress, Sushmita Dev, resigned from the party on Monday. In her resignation letter to Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, Dev said she was "beginning a new chapter of public service". She also changed her Twitter bio to "former member" of Congress. Dev is reportedly heading to Kolkata to meet West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee.
