Municipal staff members in Dehri-on-Sone in Bihar's Rohtas district withdrew over ₹1 lakh from a dead man's ATM card, following which the police arrested a staff member. The arrested staff member confessed to pulling out the card from the dead man's belongings during his cremation. Police said the amount was withdrawn from ATMs of three different banks within 10 days.
