Over 2,300 in UK infected with COVID-19 variant 1st found in India

The UK health authorities have identified 2,323 cases of the COVID-19 variant first found in India as of Monday. The variant has now been found in 86 districts across UK, Health Secretary Matt Hancock said. "The vaccination program can give us confidence, but we must be alert to new variants that can jeopardise the advances that we've made," Hancock added.
