Plans on to build high-speed rail link between B'luru city & airport: K'taka CM

Karnataka CM Basavaraj S Bommai has said a high-speed rail link between Bengaluru city and Kempegowda International Airport is being planned. "KIA will become a unique airport, connected by three railway lines, with Namma Metro, suburban rail and high-speed train," he added. The 37-km rail link, originally proposed in 2001-2002, will reduce commute time to airport to around 20 minutes.
