Russia tested the preparedness of its air defence systems in Crimea amid Ukraine and NATO military drills in the Black Sea, the Interfax news agency reported on Tuesday. Russia's Black Sea fleet had deployed around 20 warplanes and helicopters, S-400 and Pantsir surface-to-air missile systems in the readiness tests, the report added. Russia had annexed Crimea from Ukraine in 2014.
