Satellite pics show water bodies in US' California drying out amid severe drought

Amid severe drought in US' California, satellite images of its reservoirs have shown depleted water reserves. Images of Lake Oroville (California's second-largest reservoir) captured in June 2019 and June 2021 have shown the reduction in water levels. "Current drought is...on track to become the worst...we've seen in at least 1,200 years," said a paleoclimatologist at the University of California.
