Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen said on Sunday that the country will not be "forced to bow" to China after the Chinese President Xi Jinping vowed to realise "peaceful reunification" with Taiwan. This comes after a record number of Chinese military aircraft entered Taiwan's airspace. "We'll continue to bolster our national defence and demonstrate our determination to defend ourselves," Tsai added.
