Taliban expected to play important role in Afghan peace process: China

After the Taliban delegation met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Wednesday, Wang said the Taliban is expected to play an important role in ending Afghanistan's war and rebuilding it. He hoped the Taliban would crackdown on East Turkestan Islamic Movement as it's a "threat to China". Meanwhile, Taliban said, "[We]...assured China...we...[won't] allow anyone to use Afghan soil against China."
