US Prez Biden to meet Afghan Prez Ghani amid US troop withdrawal

US President Joe Biden will meet Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and High Council for National Reconciliation Chairman Abdullah Abdullah on Friday at White House amid a surge in violence in Afghanistan as US troops withdraw from the country. The US will ensure that Afghanistan "never again becomes a safe haven for terrorist groups", a White House spokesperson said.
