Seven students were injured in a clash with police over a garba dance event organised on a university campus in Gujarat's Surat, officials said on Tuesday. The incident took place when students resisted a police team's attempt to stop the event, organised allegedly in violation of the COVID-19 guidelines. Surat police commissioner has ordered an inquiry into the incident.
