Nicholas Burns, the US' next envoy to Beijing, said that China "has been an aggressor against India along their Himalayan border". He said America will stand by its allies if Beijing threatens them, adding that China must be held accountable for failing to play by the rules. He said this during a meeting with the Senate Foreign Relations Committee's members.
