2618 - 150 employees hospitalised after food poisoning at iPhone maker Foxconn in TN

Over 150 employees, who work at a Foxconn factory that makes Apple's iPhones in Tamil Nadu's Sriperumbudur, were hospitalised for food poisoning this week. "There was an outbreak of acute diarrhoea reported among the Foxconn employees," the Thiruvallur district administration said. As many as 256 workers were treated as out-patients and 159 were hospitalised, of whom 155 have been discharged.
