Karnataka has joined states like Telangana, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Punjab and Tamil Nadu to invite Elon Musk to set up a Tesla plant in the state. Karnataka Minister Murugesh R Nirani called Karnataka "EV hub of India," while adding, "Bengaluru is already Tesla's maiden address in India." Earlier, Musk had tweeted about "challenges with the government" for Tesla's India launch.
