2888-Bengaluru: Man Tries To Smuggle Red Sandalwood In 'Pushpa' Style; Gets Arrested

Inspired by the movie 'Pushpa', a man tried to smuggle red sandalwood from Karnataka-Andhra Pradesh border to Maharashtra but was caught by the police in Maharashtra. The accused placed fruits and vegetable boxes on top of sandalwood and also pasted a sticker of COVID-19 essential products on his truck. The police seized his truck and red sandalwood worth ₹2.45 crore.
