Odisha Vigilance Directorate officials on Thursday arrested a gynaecologist at a community health centre in Puri district on corruption charges. Officials in a raid at the doctor's residence recovered ₹1.12 crore in cash. This comes after the directorate officials were tipped off about the doctor allegedly accepting a bribe to carry out a cesarean section operation on a woman.
