A 22-year-old bride in Uttar Pradesh's Pratapgarh district called off her wedding when the groom and his guests arrived drunk at the venue and misbehaved with her relatives. The groom also tried to force her to dance and created a ruckus when she refused. The bride's family held the groom and 'baraatis' hostage and asked them to return dowry gifts.
