The US has withdrawn an estimated 30-40% of its troops from Afghanistan till May 31, the US Central Command said on Tuesday. The US has also officially handed over six facilities to the Afghanistan Ministry of Defence. US President Joe Biden, in April, had announced that the country would withdraw all its troops from Afghanistan by September 11 this year.
