Maha govt announces ₹20 lakh aid for Mumbai rape & torture victim's family

The Maharashtra government has announced a compensation of ₹20 lakh for the family of the Mumbai rape victim who succumbed to her injuries. The Mumbai Police have also informed that the accused has confessed to his crime and the crime weapon has also been recovered. The accused has also been charged under sections of the SC/ST Atrocities Act.
